Script tags stop working on March 1, 2027.
Shopify froze script tag creation on October 1, 2026 — and there is no list of script tags anywhere in your admin. This audit scans your public storefront, finds every script tag Shopify is still loading, and shows where each one has to go. No app install, no token.
How it works
The audit reads the script-tag list Shopify injects into your public storefront pages. Nothing to install, nothing to copy out of your admin.
Paste your store address
Your public store URL or your .myshopify.com domain — that is all the audit needs. No app install, no login, no access token; the audit never touches your admin.

Three pages are scanned
Home, one product page and one collection page — different templates load different scripts, so one page is not enough. Shopify loads app script tags through a list in those pages (asyncLoad); the audit reads that list and identifies each script.
Read the honest limits
Password-protected stores cannot be scanned — turn the password page off and re-run. Apps that already moved to app embeds or web pixels will not appear in the list, and scripts that load only on other pages can be missed. An empty list is a neutral signal, not a clean bill of health.
Run the audit
Audit report —
Sample dataWe scanned your public pages and found no script tags loading. That often means your apps have already moved to app embeds or web pixels — a good sign. It is not proof that nothing is left: scripts that load only on pages we could not reach would not appear here. To be sure, also check Settings → Customer events and your theme editor’s app embeds.
